When Katie was four yeas old, she took part in the Rec Center's "Start Smart" program for baseball/softball. We went and bought Katie her own bat. We let her pick it out and she was very proud of it. There was one problem though..... it wasn't pink. It HAD to be. I made a vist to the local hardware store and got some pink paint. I taped the bat up and sprayed at least 6 coats.
